The Tsunterlands might have more flaws than strengths to be honest but here it goes

The Tsunterlands has limited fertile land and no natural energy resources of its own - its actually quite a resource-poor country. It cannot feed its population by itself nor power its country without relying on imports. This makes the Tsunterlands extremely vulnerable to shocks to international trade - IE see what happened during the Iershenovan War when riots broke out due to blackouts.

The Tsunterlands is a highly developed nation with a great quality of life... mostly. This is indeed true for the affluent and heavily populated western coastal regions (the Long Hook and Little Hook Peninsulars) however the Interior is much worse off, being far less developed and having far worse quality of life outcomes. That brings us onto the next flaw.

The Tsunter population are divided into 36 (soon to be 70 clans) many of whom operate successfully and welfare enterprises and as part of their cultural traditions share that wealth with their members - this includes providing their kinsmen with many of the welfare services (inc paying or subsidising healthcare, education and in some instances housing that in other country's would be provided by the government or by the market. This is great - provided you belong to one of clans capable of affording such things. Less wealthy clans often have to make-do with lower-quality services whilst none-Tsunters living in the Tsunterlands have to depend on underfunded government services or the market instead. As the majority of Tsunters benefit from this system there is little desire to see it changed. This is why the presence of Non ethnic-Tsunters in the Tsunterlands is seen as a threat to the great standard of living many Tsunters enjoy - more non-Tsunters voting means greater desire for political change which means Tsunters paying taxes to fund welfare services they don't use.

I am logging significant events in my nation (policies enacted/cancelled, WA-related activity, or reclassifications) in a “History of Teclana” factbook. Each IRL day corresponds to 1 year. I will also include leader changes after unlocking the Leader feature, justified by leaders no longer leading the country for whatever reason (I will change my leader every 2 months or every week depending on whether or not I have term limits and state what happened to the old leader.

I could be wrong, but I think in TWI, the IC date matches the date irl, so I believe in TWI, it's currently 2024 and 1 day = ~ 1 day.

Pretty much this, yes.

We do also allow back-dating posts to some degree but don’t make it a habit if you do, unless you want to run a historical RP.

(Edit: If you are to take the standard of TWI being in the Pacific, then TWI crosses the International Date Line somewhere around Argus, but in general is at least 12 hours ahead or behind UTC today depending if you’re west or east of Argus)

Either way Versekia you might want to check out the Italian cruiser Guiesspi Garibaldi and the changing of it from a conventional WW2 cruiser to Europe’s first missile cruiser.

Aye that sounds better, I'll do that. Thanks for the advice Wellsia.

Sorry about that! It's OK if I use different calendars for my own RP. I will say that my nation both uses its own calendar and the TWI calendar.

Oh, no need to apologize! Just trying to help:) Do whatever makes you happy for your own RP! I know some nations here have a TWI-canon for their nation, and then a separate canon of their own in their factbooks.

A WW2 Italian Cruiser that survived the war? I didn't know that lol. I'll check that, thanks. Interesting that a WW2 Italian ship had that long lifespan

In fact, two Italian battleships also survived the war, Vittorio Veneto and Littorio. Roma was sunk by a German air attack after surrendering, but she almost survived the war too. They were scrapped some years after the war though, not modernized and put back into service.
